My personal journey

For my post today it will be more on a personal note. I would like to share some of my journey over the past few months.
My husband and I moved here to Mississauga, about 5 months ago. We moved here for a few different reasons, but mainly for my husband to get some training and for us to find a different opportunity. This came about after the corporation of the gas station chain we were retailers of decided to sell our station.
This turned out to be more of a blessing than we had imagined.
In the few short months since coming here, I have finished my course and gotten my accounting degree. From there I decided to start a small business offering personal tax and financial advice to individuals and small businesses. I also made a career change and decided to follow my passion as a freelance writer. This has given me the chance to really learn and grow. I have learned many things in terms of marketing, advertizing and how the internet works. This has really helped to enhance my portfolio.
While trying to find some writing jobs one night, I stumbled upon an advertisement which has changed my life and my families’ life for the better. It was about a business opportunity. I filled out a simple submission form and was taken through a serious of training videos explaining the prospect.
After the first video was complete I knew I had found the opportunity my husband and I had been searching for. We were looking for something that wasn’t a franchise that we would have full ownership of and most importantly something that reflected our values. That is exactly what I found through the Freedom Project and Shaklee.
This new business venture has truly been a life altering experience. I will be dedicated the next few posts about our journey with Shaklee and what opportunities are out there waiting for you as well.
